Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Digital Asset Manager to support our busy fashion e-commerce studio. This role is responsible for organizing, archiving, editing, and maintaining all visual assets across the brand, while also supporting editorial and e-commerce photoshoots as a digitech. The majority of the time will be spent on weekly and monthly e-commerce projects, followed by editorial shoots for campaigns and sales. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced creative environment with a strong eye for detail and workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Photo Editing & Post-Production
  • Conduct quality control to ensure imagery meets brand standards and technical specifications for all e-commerce assets.
  • Perform photo editing, retouching, color correction, cropping, compositing, and formatting for e-commerce, editorial, and marketing use.
  • Prepare image files for various outputs, including web, print, and social media.
  • Experience with video is considered a plus.
  • Digital Asset Management & Archiving
  • Own the organization, archiving, and maintenance of all digital assets.
  • Manage and maintain the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure assets are accurately uploaded and easily searchable.
  • Apply consistent file naming conventions, keywords, metadata, and version control.
  • Partner with creative, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure timely asset delivery.
  • Monitor storage, backups, and archival processes to ensure asset security.
  • Collaborate with production and project management on post-production schedules.

On-Set Digitech Support

  • Act as the digitech on editorial and e-commerce shoots.
  • Manage image capture workflows on set, including tethered shooting, file organization, and live selects.
  • Work with the Director of Photography and Senior Photographer to ensure accurate color and tone.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff of assets from the shoot to post-production and DAM ingestion.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support for photographers.
  • Manage shot lists and apply keywords/metadata during shoots.
  • Edit and export files immediately following photoshoots to begin the post-production process.

Studio Support

  • Share responsibility for organizing the studio workspace and equipment.
  • Clean up and store equipment properly after photoshoots.
  • Provide upkeep and care for all digital studio equipment and supplies.
  • Perform technical maintenance such as calibrating monitors and installing software/hardware updates.
  • Support other studio roles as needed, including set cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
  • Workflow & Process Optimization
  • Ensure that all shot lists are kept up to date.
  • Refine asset management workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Create documentation for file organization, naming conventions, and metadata standards.
  • Train internal teams on DAM best practices.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in digital asset management, photo production, or studio operations within fashion or retail industries.
  • BFA or Associate’s Degree in Photography or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Capture One.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Bridge, and Premiere.
  • Experience with DAM platforms such as Bynder, Widen, or similar.
  • Experience working as a digitech or in on-set photo workflows, including tethered capture.
  • Strong understanding of file formats, color spaces, image specs, and metadata standards.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume environment.

Salary: $65-70K + bonus
