Job Title: Accounting Assistant - General Department: Accounting/Finance

Name: Reports to: Andrae Roberts Effective Date: 8/29/2025

Job Summary: Hours M-F 9:00am – 5:30pm

This role is multi-disciplinary, providing backup support across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Disbursement Journals, Claims Analysis, and Collections.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Assist in posting Accounts Receivable by recording and calculating credit memos.

2. Assist in posting Accounts Payable and preparing cash disbursements.

3. Assist in managing the research process necessary to file customer deductions claims.

4. Assist in validating customer invoices.

5. Assist in collections efforts for certain customers.

6. Assist in data collection and analysis for management review.

7. Assist the accounting department on an as needed basis.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Examples:

· Proficiency in MS Excel and MS office required.

· Proficiency in MS Dynamics strongly preferred.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
