Accounts Payable Clerk at SV Microwave – West Palm Beach, Florida

SV Microwave is seeking an independent, organized accounts payable clerk to work in our centrally located West Palm Beach office. SV Microwave manufactures electronic connectors and cable assemblies on site for major military and commercial customers.

*This is an in-office position*

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate and timely payment of legitimate invoices, including:
• Process and verify invoices received via mail and email
• Match invoices A/P records and research discrepancies
• Route miscellaneous, non-recurring invoices for approval as needed
• Assign account numbers and ensure proper distribution in the general ledger
• Process payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer
• Scan payments and invoices into the system
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including:
• Accrued expenses
• Prepaid assets
• Enter and post payroll journal entries in the general ledger based on information received from HR
• Coordinate monthly closing process to ensure the timely production of monthly financial statements
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or 2 years’ A/P experience or combination of education and experience
• Strong administrative and clerical skills
