HR Generalist
Location: Vadnais Heights, MN (Hybrid)

What is an HR Generalist?
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. This role works closely with employees, managers, and leadership to provide HR guidance and ensure consistent application of policies and practices. The position plays a key role in supporting employee experience, maintaining compliance, and contributing to effective HR operations.
What You Can Expect to Do as an HR Generalist:
- Support day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, policy administration, and compliance.
- Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee issues, performance management, and HR best practices.
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including screening, coordination, and candidate communication.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Administer employee benefits and support employee inquiries.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity.
- Support payroll processes and ensure accurate employee data.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Support employee engagement efforts and internal communications.
What We Are Looking For in an HR Generalist:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources or a related role.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
