In this role, you will act as a senior analytics leader driving measurement excellence across complex digital marketing ecosystems. You will translate data into strategic business decisions, helping clients understand performance, optimize investments, and build stronger data foundations across ecommerce and B2B environments. Operating within a fast-moving, highly collaborative agency setting, you will own and elevate analytics standards while mentoring team members and shaping best practices across the organization. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic consulting, requiring you to solve complex measurement challenges while guiding clients and internal teams toward clearer decision-making. You will also play a key role in improving analytics products, automation, and reporting frameworks to scale impact across multiple accounts. Your work will directly influence client growth, campaign effectiveness, and the overall maturity of data-driven marketing practices. This is a high-impact leadership role where technical depth meets client strategy and team development.
In this role, you will lead analytics strategy and execution across a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality measurement frameworks and actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will serve as both a hands-on expert and a team leader, setting the standard for analytics excellence and continuously improving how data is used across engagements.
- Own and elevate marketing analytics strategy across multiple client accounts, ensuring data drives clear business decisions
- Lead complex analytics implementations, measurement frameworks, and troubleshooting across digital marketing ecosystems
- Translate client objectives into structured analytics approaches, reporting systems, and actionable insights
- Oversee analytics deliverables and ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability of measurement practices
- Partner with clients and internal teams to embed data-driven decision-making into ongoing marketing strategies
- Lead, mentor, and develop analytics team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and analytics product development
- Contribute to the broader analytics roadmap and help shape service offerings and best practices across the organization
This role requires strong technical expertise in marketing analytics combined with leadership experience in client-facing environments. You bring deep hands-on knowledge of analytics implementation as well as the ability to guide teams, solve complex measurement challenges, and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading marketing analytics strategy for ecommerce and/or B2B organizations
- Strong hands-on expertise with tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and Meta Ads
- Experience managing or mentoring analysts and setting quality standards for analytics work
- Ability to troubleshoot complex tracking, measurement, and implementation challenges end-to-end
- Strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems and data-driven decision-making frameworks
- Experience working in client-facing or agency environments with multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights for stakeholders
- Familiarity with data platforms and visualization tools (e.g., BigQuery, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) is an asset
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing hands-on execution with strategic oversight
- Competitive total compensation: $109,000 – $142,000 CAD + profit sharing (after 1 year)
