Senior Content Marketing Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager based in United States.

This is a high-impact content leadership role focused on building demand and strengthening technical storytelling for sophisticated engineering audiences. You will shape and execute a content strategy that turns complex technology concepts into compelling, accessible marketing experiences. The role spans technical blogs, video, web, social media, advertising, and other content formats. You will work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and sales experts while developing a strong understanding of customer needs and competitive dynamics. AI tools will be an important part of the content workflow, with a strong emphasis on maintaining originality, accuracy, and quality. This is an autonomous opportunity within a collaborative, globally distributed environment where your work can have a direct and visible impact.

Accountabilities
  • Define and execute a technical content strategy designed to generate demand and engage engineering-focused buyer personas.
  • Research, develop, edit, and manage technical content across blogs, videos, web pages, advertisements, social media, and other relevant channels.
  • Build deep subject-matter expertise across products, customers, competitive positioning, and the broader technology landscape.
  • Develop and maintain a network of external technical contributors to create a consistent pipeline of high-quality, expert-led content.
  • Own content projects end to end, from ideation and research through production, publication, and performance analysis.
  • Use analytics and performance data to identify content gaps, emerging opportunities, and ways to improve engagement and demand generation.
  • Leverage AI and LLM-based tools to improve content workflows, increase production efficiency, and enhance content quality without sacrificing authenticity.
  • Establish and maintain clear quality standards for AI-assisted content, ensuring output is accurate, useful, original, and aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with subject-matter experts across product, engineering, marketing, and sales to translate technical knowledge into compelling customer-facing stories.
  • Adapt content to different stages of technical buyer journeys and support broader marketing and business objectives.
Requirements
  • 5–7 years of experience in B2B technical marketing, content marketing, product marketing, developer relations, product management, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging marketing content.
  • Demonstrated expertise creating content for technical audiences and supporting technical buyer journeys.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO, and GEO best practices.
  • Professional or hands-on experience with software engineering, platform engineering, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Advanced understanding of software development, cybersecurity, identity and access management, cloud, and infrastructure concepts.
  • Proven ability to create or oversee content across multiple formats, including web, blogs, video, social media, advertising, and similar channels.
  • Experience using LLMs and AI-powered tools to accelerate content production while maintaining high standards for accuracy and quality.
  • Strong judgment around AI-generated content, with the ability to distinguish valuable, differentiated content from low-quality or generic output.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to content quality.
  • High level of autonomy, initiative, and comfort navigating ambiguity while maintaining ownership of projects and outcomes.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary of $148,000–$185,000, depending on location, experience, skills, and other relevant qualifications.
  • Equity opportunities as part of the overall compensation package.
  • Extensive health coverage.
  • Annual expense budget.
  • Rest and recovery policies designed to support sustainable performance and time away from work.
  • Retirement savings plans to support long-term financial planning.
  • Professional development opportunities and investment in career growth.
  • Remote-first working environment with collaboration across a globally distributed team.
  • High level of autonomy and ownership, with opportunities to make a visible impact.
  • Collaborative environment with opportunities to work closely with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams.
