Do you enjoy working with kids and want a part-time role where you can make a difference in their day?

Sioux Falls Lutheran School is looking for kind, dependable, and fun-loving Educational Assistants to join our Eagle Care before- and after-school program. You’ll help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children can play, learn, build friendships, and feel cared for.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and engage children from infancy through fifth grade
• Lead and participate in games, crafts, outdoor play, and other activities
• Build positive relationships with children and help them navigate social interactions
• Support daily routines, snacks, transitions, and student pickup
• Provide personal care when needed, including toileting, diapering, dressing, and feeding
• Work alongside other Eagle Care staff to keep children safe, happy, and engaged
• Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming program spaces

We’re looking for someone who:

• Genuinely enjoys working with children
• Is patient, caring, dependable, and positive
• Can actively engage with children while maintaining appropriate supervision
• Works well as part of a team
• Can communicate respectfully with children, families, and coworkers
• Supports the Christian mission and values of Sioux Falls Lutheran School

Our greatest current need is for after-school care from approximately 3:00–6:00 p.m. Additional hours may be available for before-school care, non-school days, and summer programming.

Eagle Care is an extension of the Sioux Falls Lutheran School community. Our goal is simple: provide a safe, welcoming place where children are known, cared for, and encouraged to grow.
