Position Summary
The CSU Foundation (CSUF) Executive Assistant’s primary responsibility is to support the efforts and daily activity of the Senior Vice President, furthering the strategic efforts of the Finance & Operations office. The Executive Assistant will manage the executive calendar, daily activities and follow up from meetings, and be a dynamic partner to elevate the efforts of the Finance & Operations team’s metrics, goals and positive culture. This individual will work alongside the Senior Vice President and will regularly serve as their primary point of contact. They will collaborate with CSUF staff, alumni, donors, campus partners, and constituents. The Executive Assistant will work in a dynamic team environment, and work in collaboration with multiple individuals and teams to ensure they maximize and celebrate the philanthropic support of donors. The successful candidate will have a proven track record with collaboration, project management, time management, and organization. This position will be thoughtful in all areas of their work to ensure processes and services are inclusive. This position will be located in Fort Collins, Colorado with the possibility of hybrid work based on performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates administrative support and a broad range of projects within the Finance & Operations team at the Colorado State University Foundation.
- Provides direction, oversight and management of various initiatives and bodies of work that require a high level of professionalism, organization, and confidentiality.
- Serves as a dynamic partner to elevate efforts toward the organization's goals and positive culture.
- Assists the CSUF Executive Leadership Team as needed.
- Regularly serves as the primary point of contact for the Senior Vice President and collaborates with CSUF staff, alumni, donors, campus partners and constituents.
- Manages projects, effectively plans and priorities calendar appointments, and prepares various meeting materials.
- Envision and implement improvements to relevant processes.
- Remain informed of changes in accounting standards and tax law affecting non-profit entities, implement changes, and research accounting and tax issues as needed.
- Interact professionally with a wide audience of individuals and groups in various settings.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance to meet position needs.

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 4 years’ experience in an administrative role, such as project or office management and/or in a customer-facing role, such as sales, marketing, non-profits or development office
- A demonstrated ability to engage and effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, analysis, attention to detail and communication
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including early mornings, evenings, and some weekend
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement, confidentiality and discretion in communication with colleagues and constituents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and experience tracking multiple projects.
- Ability to problem solve and exercise initiative and independent judgement.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems and an affinity for learning new technology.
- PMP Certification
- Experience working within higher education
