We are growing and need to add a Human Resources Generalist to our Team!
Job Summary: The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR processes.

- Coordinate employee benefit renewals
- Monitor and respond to HR Admin email
- Create and maintain confidential personnel files
- Provide clerical and technical support
- Perform records management activities according to the Local Government Common Records Retention Schedule (CORE)
- Administer the employee recognition program
- Compose routine correspondence using proper grammar and punctuation
- Communicate effectively and professionally
- Distribute new employee paperwork and welcome email materials
- Respond to verification of employment requests within 24 hours
- Run various reports and queries exporting information from company software
- Timekeeping for staff
- Prepare new hire paperwork and complete the onboarding process for new employees, including running backgrounds.
- Notify management when new hires are good to start.
- Monitor completion of pre-employment tasks.
- Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
- Coordinate human resources special projects, job fairs and community events.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma
- 3+ year in Human Resources
- Associate’s degree -Preferred not required- You may replace with work experience
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Previous experience working in the Trades preferred but not required
