About the Role

The Account Manager will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring their financial processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned with their goals. You will manage multiple client accounts, handle day-to-day accounting tasks, and provide valuable insights to drive business success.

This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone eager to develop their accounting and client management skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Perform or oversee bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify their financial goals and provide actionable insights.
  • Handle occasional journal entries to correct errors or record complex transactions.
  • Streamline and maintain efficient financial processes for clients using tools like QuickBooks Online and Xero.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and add value for clients.
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and communicate findings with clarity and confidence.
  • Support the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of client businesses, acting as a strategic partner.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or client management experience.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
  • Experience working with small businesses in a consulting or accounting capacity.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to client success.
