About This Position
? As our HR Intern, you’ll be hands-on with real projects and get a broad view of what modern Human Resources looks like in the construction and manufacturing space.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Supporting new hire onboarding, including preparing welcome materials and assisting with orientations
· Helping to maintain employee records, digital files, and HR data with accuracy and confidentiality
· Assisting in recruitment efforts: posting jobs, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews
· Collaborating on employee engagement initiatives (think events, recognition, and communication)
· Participating in HR team meetings and contributing fresh ideas
· Assisting with compliance tasks and HR audits
· Taking part in process improvement projects—your voice and perspective are welcome
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and digital
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage time effectively
- Respectful of confidentiality and comfortable handling sensitive information
- Interest in HR systems, company culture, and people-first operations
- Bonus if you’re tech-savvy or enjoy organizing and streamlining processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience or coursework in Human Resources.
- Previous internship or co-op experience.?

- Duration: This is an internship position, expected to commence at the end of this academic semester and conclude at the end of the summer session.
