In this role, you'll be a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate specialized financing options to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams.

As a Franchise Funding Consultant at FranFund, you'll play a key role in helping candidates understand various funding solutions and building rapport with our trust referral sources. You will be part of a forward-thinking, award-winning, industry-leading team that fosters growth and collaboration from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Consulting with potential franchisees to assess their financial situation. Provide guidance on funding options, including SBA loans, ROBS, and other specialized programs.
  • Manage and nurture leads from a variety of referral sources, including franchise brokers, franchisors, CPAs, and attorneys. Evaluate candidates’ financial readiness and match them with the most appropriate funding solutions.
  • Educate candidates on the various funding options available and work with them to build a financial strategy that aligns with their goals. Establish long-term, trusted relationships with clients to guide them through the entire funding process.
  • Attend franchise industry events and conferences to build relationships with brokers, franchisors, and potential clients. Stay connected with referral sources to ensure a consistent flow of leads.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless service and alignment with the candidate’s funding goals. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Provide continuous guidance and updates throughout the funding process. Follow up with clients’ post-funding to ensure satisfaction and discuss future opportunities.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Track record in consultative advisory roles, with a focus on building trust and offering tailored financial solutions.
  • Ability to learn and understand a variety of funding options for franchisees, such as SBA loans, ROBS, and other financial products. Experience with these products is highly valued.
  • An ability to empathize with candidates’ financial challenges and provide solutions that align with their unique needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and partners.
  • Proven ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Experience with or a deep understanding of the franchise industry is preferred, though not required.
  • Strong organizational skills required to keep up with the pace of the role.
  • Must be open to traveling to attend franchise industry events, conferences, and meetings as needed.

Proficiency/Experience Preferred:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing leads, tracking progress, and maintaining client relationships is desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Calendly, RingCentral and Zoom/Teams for efficient scheduling, communication and virtual meetings.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple leads simultaneously and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a positive, energetic attitude combined with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Confident and personable when engaging with clients over the phone and at in-person functions.
