MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN at LifeBridge Health – Baltimore, Maryland

• Under limited supervision, repairs, paints, cleans, assembles and performs daily work as assigned, such as painting, wall repair and other cosmetics, preventive and adjustment maintenance on toilets, showers, sinks, doors, cabinets, flooring etc. as needed or directed and according to departmental procedures, manufacturer's specifications and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Maintenance Tech and occasional housekeeping staff shift coverage as needed.
• Installs, maintains and repairs building maintenance and cosmetics, etc.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals, written specifications, work orders, mechanical and architectural drawings, schematics, etc.
• Prepares material lists and purchase requisitions for materials, required for assigned projects in accordance with plan specifications and design, departmental procedures, etc.
• Coordinates work with other staff and coordinates work schedule with other trade mechanics and on site such as electricians, HVAC mechanics, plumbers, carpenters, etc. to ensure timely completion of projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: HS Diploma/GED preferred
• Experience: 1-3 years of related experience
• Monday-Friday schedule, occasional weekend coverage only as needed. May be required to clean rooms as needed during coverage times.
