Primary Responsibilities:The Maintenance Technician ensures the community’s buildings, systems, and apartment homes meet standards for safety, functionality, and resident satisfaction. This role completes service requests, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready/turn process for vacant apartments. The Maintenance Technician works collaboratively with the onsite team to minimize downtime, protect asset value, and deliver responsive, high-quality service. What You Bring:Experience in building maintenance or an education in the tradesBeginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairAvailability for emergencies at the property, including an on-call rotationThe ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantlyPersonal, reliable transportation to get to work and to respond to on-call emergenciesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalA sharp professional appearanceBasic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps, and computer programsAdditional items: Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or general maintenance).Working knowledge of common apartment maintenance areas (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry).It can prioritize multiple work orders and respond professionally to residents.Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. $22.00-$27.00 Hour USD** Joining River View Companies means becoming part of a team that values your growth, well-being, and contributions.
