Facility Maintenance Generalist in Baltimore, Maryland at Terrazzo and Marble Supply Companies

Terrazzo & Marble Supply Company is a stable and successful wholesale distributor of terrazzo materials and is 100% Employee-Owned. We are seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Generalist. This is a great role for an out-of-the-box creative thinker and problem-solver who can fix older equipment instead of replacing it.

Primary responsibilities include staying compliant with regulations, maintaining the preventive maintenance schedule, and ensuring equipment runs properly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience.
• Knowledge of general maintenance
• Experience with setting and following a preventative maintenance schedule
• Experience with getting quotes for larger repairs
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
• Ability to understand any safety requirements and cautions
• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
