Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, and we are in search of a Senior Business Planning Analyst based at our Burnsville, MN office.
Reporting to the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) Director, the Senior Business Planning Analyst will primarily be responsible for facilitating the demand planning process across the enterprise. This role will continue to shape and drive the demand planning capability for the organization and drive alignment to the strategic priorities needed to execute in a high growth environment. This position will ensure consistent use of data & processes across the various products, sites, and ERP’s and work to continuously improve the accuracy and quality of inputs and outputs.

In this role you will get to:
- Lead enterprise-wide demand planning activities, forming strong partnerships with Sales, Marketing, and other key stakeholders
- Conduct in-depth analyses of demand forecast methods, including statistical models, industry trends, and market assumptions combined with commercial insights
- Drive efforts to advance planning capabilities, including identifying and implementing systematic improvements, digital tools & platforms, and developing best practices for demand planning in a custom solution environment
- Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to develop inventory management strategies, focusing on improving raw material forecast and targeted finished goods to meet customer demands
- Incorporate new offering introduction and product lifecycle management decisions into demand and supply plans, coordinating ramp up / down plans
- Measure, monitor, and drive improvements to KPI’s with focus on improving forecast accuracy and forecast bias metrics
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance, Supply Chain, Business Management, or other quantitative fields
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand or supply planning, financial forecasting, supply chain management, or other planning roles
- Excellent analytical skills, with a strong focus on managing, manipulating, and presenting large data sets
- Proficient use of digital systems and Microsoft Office tools, including proficiency in Excel
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment with a focus on continuous improvement
Preferred skills:
- Experience with ERP and other demand planning systems, with Epicor being a plus
- Experience with data visualization tools, a plus (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience with SIOP process and supply planning knowledge is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to document, streamline, and automate complex processes
- Excellent communication skills, with a bias towards collaboration and teamwork
- Positive attitude, adept at problem solving
- Demonstrated leadership qualities in cross-functional settings to drive differentiated results
