Sr. Associate II, Vision Care Field Sales

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Associate II, Vision Care Field Sales in Canada.

This role is a field-based commercial position focused on building strong partnerships with eye care professionals and driving the adoption of innovative vision care solutions. You will work directly with eye care practitioners to understand their clinical and business needs and position tailored product offerings that improve patient outcomes. The role blends consultative selling, territory management, and data-driven decision-making in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will be responsible for executing structured sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and representing the organization at events and educational sessions. The position requires strong autonomy, strategic planning, and the ability to influence prescribing behaviours through trusted advisory relationships. It is a travel-intensive role with significant exposure to clinical stakeholders across Northern Alberta.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute a structured territory business plan to achieve sales targets and maximize market opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Engage eye care professionals through a consultative approach to identify clinical and business needs and align appropriate product solutions.
  • Drive product adoption by influencing prescribing behaviours and positioning solutions as preferred choices in vision care practices.
  • Provide technical and product expertise to support proper usage and clinical understanding of solutions.
  • Manage customer relationships by ensuring timely follow-ups, resolving inquiries, and maintaining high service standards.
  • Leverage sales data, CRM tools, and analytics to develop insights and tailor engagement strategies for each account.
  • Organize and support continuing education events, conferences, and customer engagement activities, including occasional evenings and travel.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to identify opportunities, share best practices, and contribute to broader sales initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college diploma in business, science, marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in sales, ideally within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or eye care.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability in consultative selling, relationship building, and influencing decision-making.
  • Strong business acumen with analytical thinking and the ability to interpret sales data and market insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM or sales management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a field-based territory independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with negotiation and networking abilities considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40%, including regional and occasional North American events.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement savings programs and financial wellbeing support.
  • Career development opportunities in a global, innovative healthcare environment.
  • Exposure to advanced clinical and commercial training programs.
  • Opportunities to attend conferences, educational events, and industry networking sessions.
  • Inclusive workplace culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Travel opportunities across territories and broader North American events.
