Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards
- Conduct quality inspections, audits, and testing to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
- Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Document and report quality findings, trends, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with production, operations, engineering, or service teams to improve processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, SOPs)
- Support internal and external audits and assist with audit preparation and follow-ups
- Train employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality improvement projects
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation and records
- Diploma or degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a QA role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, and procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with ERP and quality management systems (e.g., SAP, QMS software) is an asset
- $60000 - $70000 / year
