This is a highly visible role where your expertise will directly impact advisor success and client financial outcomes.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and deliver educational content, presentations, workshops, and seminars to strengthen advisor knowledge and drive adoption of tax-efficient financial solutions.
  • Partner with retail wealth sales teams to identify business opportunities, support product positioning, and contribute to the growth of investment solutions through strategic planning insights.
  • Conduct in-depth case analysis, build financial illustrations, and support complex client scenarios involving personal, corporate, and trust taxation strategies.
  • Monitor regulatory, legislative, and industry changes, ensuring all materials, tools, and recommendations remain compliant and up to date.
  • Produce thought leadership content, articles, and training materials to enhance advisor engagement and reinforce planning expertise across distribution channels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop tools, resources, and frameworks that support advisors in delivering optimized financial planning outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on tax, retirement, and estate planning.
  • Deep expertise in Canadian taxation, retirement planning strategies, and estate planning principles, with proven application in client or advisory settings.
  • Strong knowledge of personal, corporate, and trust taxation frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and advisor audiences.
  • Proven ability to translate complex financial and regulatory concepts into clear, practical guidance.
  • Professional designation strongly preferred: CA, LLB, or FCIA.
  • Additional assets include CFP designation, TEP designation, CPA In-Depth Tax Program, MTax, or LLM Tax.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience working in or with distribution, wealth management, or advisor networks is highly valued.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging approximately from $110,000 to $180,000, plus eligibility for performance-based incentive compensation.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Hybrid and flexible work arrangements, including remote work options within Ontario.
  • Performance-based incentive programs linked to individual and organizational results.
  • Strong culture of learning, mentorship, and professional development.
  • Opportunity to work in a high-impact, client-focused environment within a global financial services organization.
  • Exposure to advanced financial planning strategies and industry-leading investment solutions.
  • Inclusive and collaborative culture that values diversity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
