Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Laboratory Informatics Manager reports to the Laboratory Director and is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and improving all information systems and services for Laboratory and Pathology. This individual must be familiar with all aspects of LIS function including, but not limited to: new test builds, ordering, resulting, interfacing, middleware and billing. Additional responsibilities include training, project management, validating and documenting all changes, and tracking the progress of ticket submissions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or Laboratory Science/Medical Technology
  • 2 years of Leadership - Laboratory Management experience
  • 5 years of Clinical Laboratory - LIS experience OR
  • 5 years of Clinical Laboratory experience
  • BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association
