Electrical CAD Drafter at Arseal Technologies LLC – Alpharetta, Georgia

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical CAD Drafter to support engineering and design teams by producing accurate electrical drawings and documentation. This entry-level drafting position is ideal for someone with technical drafting training and proficiency in CAD tools, particularly AutoCAD Electrical. The successful candidate will work under close supervision and follow established standards to complete drafting assignments of minimal complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical drafting tasks on assigned projects with minimal complexity.
• Follow guidance and timelines provided by senior project team members.
• Create and revise electrical drawings, including:
  1. Panel layouts
  2. Schematics
  3. Wiring diagrams
  4. Cable schedules
  5. Conduit and raceway layouts
• Use AutoCAD Electrical to:
  1. Set up new drawings per client and company standards
  2. Modify existing drawings based on markups
  3. Generate reports (e.g., BOMs, wire lists)
  4. Update I/O descriptions and terminal numbers
  5. Publish drawing sets and manage sheet sets
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy of drawings.
• Maintain organized drawing files and support as-built documentation efforts.
• Assist in incorporating field data into revised drawings.
• Ensure all work complies with internal and client drafting standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education:
  • Certificate in Drafting & Design required.
  • Associate’s degree (A.S.) in Drafting & Design preferred.
• Experience:
  • 0–2 years of relevant drafting experience (internship or academic projects accepted).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical required.
• Technical Skills & Knowledge:
  • Understanding basic electrical systems, components, and terminology.
  • Ability to interpret and draft based on P&IDs, schematics, and layout diagrams.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to drafting standards.

Basic knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC) is a plus
