About This Position

Description: The Licensed Loan Partner (LOA) supports Loan Officers in every stage of the loan process—from application through closing. This role ensures an exceptional client experience by keeping files organized, compliant, and on track. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable communicating with borrowers, processors, and business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Loan Officers with originating, processing, and closing residential mortgage loans.
  • Collect and review borrower documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate regularly with borrowers, real estate agents, title companies, and internal team members to move loans efficiently through the pipeline.
  • Order and track third-party verifications, appraisals, and title work.
  • Input and update borrower information in the loan origination system (LOS).
  • Maintain compliance with all company, state, and federal lending guidelines.
  • Prepare initial disclosures and assist in gathering conditions for underwriting approval.
  • Provide clear updates and next steps to clients throughout the loan process.
  • Support the Loan Officer with administrative and customer service tasks as needed.


 Requirements: Qualifications:
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) License required (Georgia license preferred).
  • 1–2 years of experience in mortgage lending, banking, or real estate preferred.
  • Strong understanding of loan products, disclosures, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and loan origination systems (Encompass experience a plus).
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
