POSITION TITLE: SBA Portfolio Manager
LOCATION: Remote
DEPARTMENT: SBA Loan Officers
REPORTS TO: SVP, SBA Director
SUPERVISOR TO: N/A
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time
STATUS: Exempt
DEPARTMENT | ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The SBA Portfolio Manager supports our SBA team by managing client relationships and providing servicing actions as needed. The person in this role must be able to independently assess servicing actions, monitor past dues and proactively engage and monitor portfolio changes.
RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
  • Maintain knowledge of SBA and other government guaranteed lending programs
  • Monitor and collect past dues and delinquencies
  • Perform loan servicing actions
  • Complete SBA required notices, approvals, and modifications as needed
  • Prepare for regulatory audits related to government guaranteed lending
  • Manage customer relationships and work with clients to obtain any documentation needed to prepare and facilitate their loans
  • Assist with underwriting as needed
  • Follow all SBA policies and procedures
EXPERIENCE | QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years of SBA experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Formal SBA training certification or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Organized
  • Detail Oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Familiar with SBA lending regulations
COMPUTER / SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
