This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Engenheiro de Planejamento (Búzios) based in Brazil.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful planning, control, and financial adherence of complex engineering and EPCI projects in a high-performance offshore environment. The professional will be responsible for supporting contract management activities, ensuring accurate measurement processes, and maintaining alignment between project execution, cost control, and contractual obligations. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the engineer will contribute to the integrity of project data and the reliability of financial and operational reporting. The position demands strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and deep familiarity with large-scale project environments. It is a strategic role with direct impact on cost efficiency, contractual compliance, and overall project performance. The environment is dynamic, highly technical, and aligned with rigorous industry standards. The role also requires interaction with corporate systems and stakeholders to ensure transparency and governance across all project phases.

Accountabilities:
  • Support contract supervision processes, ensuring accurate measurement control, including monitoring of penalties, amendments, local content indices (ICL), and labor hour allocation documentation.
  • Analyze monthly reports, occurrence reports (RO), contractual correspondence, and other documentation supporting project execution and compliance.
  • Evaluate the quality of evidence provided by EPCI contractors and other vendors to support cost and service measurement processes.
  • Provide technical support in supplier performance evaluation processes, ensuring alignment with contractual expectations.
  • Support the organization and management of contractual documentation, both physical and digital, according to corporate governance standards.
  • Review and validate measurement documentation submitted by contractors, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain control over contract measurement processes, including monitoring of advance payments and financial tracking.
  • Analyze foreign currency measurement documentation and coordinate with corporate areas when additional validation is required.
  • Track and archive billing documentation sent to the finance department, ensuring accurate monitoring of payments, deductions, and related financial data.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering (any specialization).
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in relevant planning, project control, or contract management activities.
  • At least 1 year of experience within the PETROBRAS system or similar large-scale industrial environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP R3 (PS and MM modules).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Project or Primavera (version 6 or higher).
  • Advanced command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex documentation.
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and corporate stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, proactivity, and sense of responsibility.
