This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.Description:
As part of a team of experts, you will support the design, development and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs. By providing analytical support to inform leadership decision-making you will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of production and manufacturing, so relevant experience in those areas is highly desired. We are seeking a individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.
Responsibilities:
Support business unit financial, operational, and strategic objectives
Develop and deliver content for strategic reviews with internal leadership
Source, aggregate and organize manufacturing content sourced through enterprise data warehouses or sourced through stakeholder input. Design and push that content to display monitors throughout the campus.
Partner with support organizations to optimize the production ramp while meeting quality, cost, schedule requirements
Build and maintain tools, analytics, and reporting to highlight performance metrics and other key information
Assist with creation of models for financial reviews, cost benefit analysis, and metrics
Perform risk & opportunity analysis and provide potential solutions. Work with the team to develop recovery plans
Identify opportunities for capacity enhancement, factory/work-center efficiencies, production planning and supply chain optimization
Data mining across multiple data sets
Lead key business analytics initiatives, as required
Qualifications:
2+ years of business analysis or consulting experience
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain driven environment.
Experience working with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau)
Exceptional with Excel and manual data analysis
Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Access
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Excellent Communication Skills
Understanding of data structures and architecture
Aptitude for teamwork with demonstrated potential for leadership
Proven ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
Experience with Visual Basic, Javascript, or Python programming
Understanding of manufacturing processes, maintenance processes, and industrial equipment
Experience using and developing within Atlassian Confluence and JIRA instances.
MBA or advanced degree
Greenfield experience
Compensation Range for:
WA applicants is $99,201.00 - $138,880.35Other site ranges may differ
