Job Purpose
Outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to become part of the Arnold Magnetic Technologies Team, focused on manufacturing products for the Aerospace, Defense, Energy, Medical and Industrial marketplaces. The Senior Account Specialist is an experienced member of the Inside Sales team responsible for supporting assigned customer accounts through quoting, contract review, order management, customer communication, and status updates. This role works closely with customers, Outside Sales, and internal departments to support customer needs and ensure effective communication throughout the order process.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as the day-to-day contact for assigned customers, providing timely and professional communication.
- Manages assigned customer accounts, priorities, and requirements throughout the order process.
- Manages contract review and works with cross-functional teams to address customer and order-related needs.
- Processes customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Purchase Orders, order changes, and status requests.
- Reviews technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements at a high level and coordinates with internal resources as needed.
- Utilizes Syteline ERP, CRM, Microsoft Office, customer portals, and other Company systems to perform daily responsibilities.
- Maintains customer-specific work instructions, portal requirements, and processes.
- Collaborates with Outside Sales and internal departments to support customer and business needs.
- Provides additional customer and team support as business needs arise, including sharing knowledge and assisting with coverage.
- Participates in special projects, process improvements, and training activities as needed.
- Identifies customer or order concerns and works with appropriate teams toward resolution.
- Grows the business with prospecting new and current customers with industry opportunities and services
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in account management, inside sales, customer service, or similar customer-facing roles; manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency with ERP/CRM systems (Syteline preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
- Proven ability to manage multiple customer accounts, priorities, and deadlines independently while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
- Experience working cross‑functionally to support complex customer requirements and resolve issues.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, communication, and judgment skills; able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and customer-specific applications; familiarity with Lean/continuous improvement concepts preferred.
- Demonstrated flexibility, initiative, and willingness to support team priorities, process improvements, and additional projects as needed.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Level of travel required: Minimal
- PPE required throughout production facility
- Sedentary office environment
- Required to do repetitive work, with fingers and hands
- Periodic lifting of materials not to exceed 25 pounds.
