Position: Material Handler / Shipping (Plastic Injection Molding)

Location: South Bend, IN (on-site)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (based on business needs)

Compensation: $22-$25/hr (Dependent on Experience)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Position Summary: Support shipping and production operations by managing inventory, handling all shipping and receiving activities, and preparing, mixing, and transporting materials for injection molding machines to ensure efficient, high-quality, and uninterrupted production.

Essential Functions:

• Manage production materials and inventory by reviewing schedules, work orders, and BOMs
• Preparing and staging material mixes for injection molding
• Operating forklifts to transport materials
• Receiving and shipping products
• Updating inventory in IQMS
• Loading/unloading shipments to support efficient production and order fulfillment.
  

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience operating a forklift
• 2+ years of Plastics Injection Molding experience
• Understanding of how to operate grinders, dryers, and other injection molding machinery
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use IQMS
• Previous knowledge of UPS/FedEx shipping methods
• Ability to operate a forklift/material handling equipment
• Inventory management experience
• Be a team-oriented professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to add using ratios as well as read, write, and communicate in English
