Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Driver/Technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through the safe and timely delivery of prescriptions, medical supplies, and pharmacy-related items to patients and clinic locations. This position also supports pharmacy operations by managing inventory, receiving and stocking medications, monitoring medication expiration dates, assisting with inventory reconciliation, and performing pharmacy technician functions as permitted by Missouri law.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy and will play an important role in ensuring patients receive medications safely, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely prescription delivery to the patient, their home, work or specified clinic location.
- Serve as an extension of the pharmacy team by ensuring patients receive their medications with professionalism, respect, and excellent customer service.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, comply with all regulatory requirements, and communicate effectively with patients and pharmacy staff to ensure seamless medication delivery experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe company vehicle.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational pharmacy regulations.
- Utilize pharmacy management system to scan, receive and post order and ensure accuracy of stock received and ensure DSCSA compliance.
- Stock medications and pharmacy supplies in appropriate locations.
- Assist with conducting routine cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of pharmacy inventory
- Support pharmacy staff to identify?and remove expired, damaged, or recalled medications according to policy.

Requirements:Required Qualifications:
- Customer service experience.
- Must obtain and maintain Missouri Pharmacy Technician registration within the first thirty days of employment by Jordan Valley Health Pharmacy.
- Must maintain eligibility to work in a licensed pharmacy environment.
- Valid Missouri driver's license with no license restrictions, must maintain clear driving record.
- Safe driving experience and ability to operate a motor vehicle in varying weather conditions.
- Pharmacy, healthcare, inventory management, warehouse, or delivery experience.
- Experience using inventory management systems or pharmacy software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
