Certified Scrub Tech at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Surgical Technologist to join our team at the Birth Place located at our main hospital in Bolivar, Missouri! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

A typical day includes: Assisting with the supplies and needs of the department. Maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment; knowing and applying aseptic and sterile techniques as applicable.

• Provides perioperative care of the patient
• Prepares the operating room and equipment
• Provides support to physicians and nurses while the procedure is underway
• Handles specimens collected

Job Requirements:

• Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required
• Experience: New graduates welcome, prior scrub tech or LPN experience preferred
• Skills: Communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Licensure/Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist
• Physical: Standing/walking for long periods of time, ability to lift and move patients and equipment, good manual dexterity and visual acuity

The position is: Full-time, working 7am-7pm, 72 hours every 2 weeks
