Director, Provado Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Provado Operations based in United States.

This leadership role is responsible for the operational performance, scalability, and optimization of a core transportation fulfillment program within a broader strategic mobility portfolio. You will oversee daily network execution while driving improvements in service reliability, cost efficiency, compliance, and member experience. The role combines operational leadership with vendor management, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic process improvement. You will work closely with Product, Local Operations, Finance, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, and Procurement teams to strengthen performance and scalability. As a people leader, you will develop a high-performing team and foster a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making. This is an opportunity to shape multimodal transportation operations while improving access, service quality, and long-term operational sustainability.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the daily operational execution and overall health of the transportation network, monitoring fulfillment KPIs, service reliability, trip volumes, and member experience.
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives focused on reducing cost per trip, improving on-time performance, increasing network utilization, and strengthening service reliability.
  • Partner with Local Operations to optimize scheduling, dispatch, regional capacity, and utilization of operational assets.
  • Develop standardized operating procedures and scalable frameworks for market launches, implementations, and program expansions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with vendor and transportation partners, ensuring compliance with SLAs, performance standards, contractual requirements, and operational expectations.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Procurement on contracting, renewals, negotiations, licensing, insurance, and vendor performance management.
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to ensure operational integrations support broader platform and multimodal technology strategies.
  • Work with Finance and Analytics to monitor cost drivers, efficiency trends, forecasting, capacity requirements, and overall business performance.
  • Partner with Product and Member Care teams to improve digital visibility, operational reporting, customer feedback loops, and service outcomes.
  • Support client and market-level presentations and serve as a subject matter expert on the transportation operating model.
  • Lead and develop a small team of operational managers or analysts, providing coaching, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Monitor the non-emergency transportation and logistics landscape, identifying relevant operational practices, trends, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Represent the organization at relevant industry conferences, councils, and events focused on transportation, logistics, and multimodal operations.
  • Oversee operational compliance disciplines, ensuring processes meet applicable state regulatory, licensing, insurance, and client requirements.
  • Track and improve key performance indicators including trip completion, year-over-year cost per trip, SLA compliance, network coverage, partner satisfaction, and internal stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or operations leadership, with at least 5 years in a people leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience managing P&L responsibilities, forecasting, operational performance, and contract compliance.
  • Advanced experience in healthcare and/or transportation environments is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders within a matrixed organization.
  • Strong understanding of transportation operations, logistics networks, vendor management, service-level agreements, and operational compliance.
  • Strong analytical and business skills, with the ability to use operational and financial data to identify trends, manage performance, and drive improvements.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong people leadership capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Ability to balance operational execution with strategic planning, scalability, cost optimization, and customer or member experience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment where reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement are critical.
