Little Scholars Learning Center – North is seeking a passionate, energetic, and nurturing Toddler / Twos Teacher to join our growing team! If you love working with young children and creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment, we would love to meet you.
Position Overview:
The Toddler / Twos Teacher is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming classroom that supports early learning and development. This role includes planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining a structured routine, and fostering social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and implement engaging lesson plans and daily activities
Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
Support children with daily routines (meals, diapering/potty training, nap time)
Encourage language development, social skills, and independence
Maintain open and positive communication with parents and staff
Ensure compliance with all state licensing and center policies
Observe and document children’s progress and development
Qualifications:
Experience working with toddlers (ages 1–3) preferred
High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or early childhood coursework a plus)
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Patient, reliable, and team-oriented
