Job Description

NHK Capital Partners is looking for a Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst at their Dallas, TX office.

The Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst supports the tracking, organization, and analysis of the company’s real estate and investment portfolio, including select family-held assets. This role provides visibility into asset performance, maintains accurate and organized financial data, and supports leadership through clear, concise reporting.

This position does not make investment decisions but plays a critical role in enabling informed decision-making through strong analysis, organization, and discretion.

Essential Job Functions
Portfolio Tracking & Organization

  • Maintain a centralized view of real estate and investment holdings across entities
  • Track key data points including any deviance from original underwriting, performance, cash flow, costs, and timelines
  • Ensure documentation is current, accurate, and easily accessible

Performance Analysis
  • Analyze asset-level and portfolio-level performance
  • Compare actual performance to projections or underwriting assumptions
  • Identify trends, risks, and variances

Reporting & Executive Support
  • Prepare regular (quarterly) reports and summaries for leadership
  • Highlight key insights, risks, and “flag items” requiring attention
  • Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests

Data Management & Integrity
  • Maintain accurate financial and operational data across multiple investments
  • Ensure consistency, version control, and organization of reporting materials
  • Support the development of dashboards or reporting tools as needed

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work with internal teams, lenders, consultants, and external advisors
  • Provide data and analysis support without stepping into decision-making roles
  • Assist in organizing information for potential or ongoing investments

This role will have access to sensitive financial information, including company and select family-held investment data.

Education and Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in real estate, finance, investment analysis, or related field
  • Strong analytical and financial skills (Excel proficiency required)
  • Experience working with multiple data sources or investment tracking preferred
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable insights
  • Professional maturity and sound judgment

Preferred Experience
  • Exposure to commercial real estate development, private equity, or investment portfolios
  • Experience supporting senior leadership or working in a closely held organization
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, underwriting, or asset performance tracking


Physical Requirements
Constant sedentary work for prolonged periods up to 100% of the time with routinely moving and transporting up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds. Must be able to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, using various modes of transportation including airplane. Must be able to detect, identify, inspect, observe, perceive and assess investor relations for assigned market(s). Must be able to constantly communicate and exchange accurate information. Constantly operates and uses computer and other relevant equipment and office machinery while performing repetitious movements.
