This is an exciting opportunity for a cloud engineering professional to help design and scale enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure in a highly innovative and fast-evolving environment. In this role, you will contribute to the development of secure, resilient, and scalable cloud platforms that support large-scale digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to implement modern cloud-native solutions using AWS and automation technologies. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, serverless services, AI-driven development practices, and cloud security frameworks. Ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, this role combines strategic architecture work with hands-on engineering responsibilities. You’ll thrive in a collaborative and agile culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and impactful technology solutions.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, implement, and enhance scalable cloud platforms and shared services using AWS cloud technologies.
  • Develop secure cloud architectures and infrastructure patterns aligned with enterprise security and compliance standards.
  • Build and maintain automated provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and configuration management solutions using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering and business teams.
  • Manage and optimize containerized workloads using Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, and serverless services including AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
  • Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, cloud governance, disaster recovery planning, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Maintain technical documentation, architectural templates, and service catalogues to support scalable cloud operations.
  • Research emerging cloud technologies, AI-enabled engineering practices, and automation capabilities to continuously improve platform performance and developer experience.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or DevOps engineering roles within enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, serverless, messaging, and container orchestration technologies.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture principles, security models, scalability, and high-availability solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, AWS CLI, or Azure CLI.
  • Strong knowledge of container technologies and orchestration platforms including Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, and Docker.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies, along with tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Ansible.
  • Understanding of AI-related technologies, GenAI concepts, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development workflows is considered an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary package ranging from $75,900 to $141,900 CAD, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and additional financial rewards.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, life, and accident insurance coverage.
  • Retirement savings plans and long-term financial wellness programs.
  • Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.
  • Flexible remote and hybrid work arrangements.
  • Access to training, mentorship, and career growth initiatives within a large-scale enterprise technology environment.
  • Inclusive and collaborative workplace culture focused on innovation, diversity, and employee well-being.
