Web Developer / Integrator / Programmer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Web Developer / Integrator / Programmer based in Canada.

Join a dynamic remote team where you'll play a key role in building, integrating, and optimizing modern web solutions for a diverse range of business projects. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple websites and digital platforms, combining technical expertise with creativity to deliver seamless user experiences. You'll collaborate closely with designers and stakeholders while contributing to scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications. The role is ideal for a self-motivated developer who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, staying current with emerging technologies, and working in a flexible, fully remote environment. Whether supporting existing platforms or developing new digital solutions, your work will directly enhance business performance and customer engagement.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop, integrate, maintain, and optimize multiple commercial websites, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability across platforms.
  • Build clean, efficient, and well-documented code while maintaining integrations between websites and third-party business systems, CRMs, and automation tools.
  • Collaborate with web designers and cross-functional stakeholders to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces that follow modern UI/UX principles and industry best practices.
  • Improve website functionality, performance, accessibility, SEO, and quality assurance processes through continuous testing and optimization.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and development practices to enhance digital products and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations in a remote, collaborative environment.
Requirements
  • 5–10 years of professional experience in web development, programming, or systems integration.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or Next.js.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining WordPress or other CMS-based websites.
  • Solid understanding of MySQL, LAMP environments, Git or equivalent version control systems, and responsive web development.
  • Experience integrating websites with CRMs, business applications, automation platforms, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Mailchimp, and related digital marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, multilingual website development, accessibility standards, and usability testing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Fluency in both English and French is required; additional languages are considered an asset.
  • Relevant college education or equivalent qualifications in web development, programming, software engineering, or a related field.
