This role offers the opportunity to design and secure the infrastructure powering a widely used developer platform.
You will build and maintain scalable cloud systems that support millions of browser sessions and critical customer workflows.
The position combines DevOps expertise, security ownership, infrastructure architecture, and close collaboration with engineering teams.
You will help shape reliable, resilient systems while improving automation, developer productivity, and operational excellence.
This is an ideal opportunity for a senior infrastructure engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
You will work in a remote-first environment alongside talented, collaborative teams focused on quality and innovation.
The role provides meaningful ownership in strengthening the foundations of a rapidly growing technology platform.

Accountabilities
  • Own and continuously improve cloud infrastructure security, including access controls, secrets management, vulnerability management, audit logging, and security best practices.
  • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure capable of supporting high-volume browser rendering workloads and enterprise-level requirements.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform to enable reliable, repeatable, and efficient deployments.
  • Partner closely with engineering and product teams to evaluate infrastructure needs, perform security reviews, and ensure secure-by-design development practices.
  • Improve CI/CD workflows, developer tooling, and operational processes to increase engineering efficiency and platform reliability.
  • Participate in incident response and on-call rotations, taking ownership of troubleshooting, mitigation, and resolution of production issues.
  • Monitor system performance, identify risks, and proactively implement improvements to scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Contribute to cloud architecture decisions, infrastructure modernization initiatives, and long-term technical strategy.
  • Support compliance and operational readiness efforts by helping maintain systems aligned with industry security standards.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience deploying, operating, and maintaining containerized applications in AWS environments.
  • 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, particularly Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, load balancers, DNS, VPC architecture, network peering, and zero-trust networking approaches.
  • Experience implementing cloud security practices such as least-privilege IAM, secrets management, API authentication, abuse prevention, audit logging, network segmentation, and vulnerability management.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as CircleCI or GitHub Actions, containerization technologies such as Docker, and orchestration tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex infrastructure challenges.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed engineering teams in a remote-first environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly across teams.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks such as SOC 2 or GDPR is a plus.
  • Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar systems is beneficial.
  • Curiosity, ownership mindset, and enthusiasm for improving developer experiences and infrastructure reliability.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package:
    • Salary range: US $155,000 – $190,000 plus equity.
  • Fully remote work environment for candidates based in the United States or Canada.
  • Opportunity to work on infrastructure supporting large-scale developer workflows and enterprise customers.
  • Equity participation opportunities.
  • Flexible remote-first culture built around trust, autonomy, and collaboration.
  • Opportunity to solve complex security, scalability, and reliability challenges.
  • Supportive environment with talented and empathetic engineering teams.
  • Exposure to modern cloud technologies and innovative infrastructure practices.
