Full-time, on-site, on-call, may requirement weekend support.
Duties
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware components such as computers, servers, and networking equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain and support operating systems including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Manage and monitor IT infrastructure to ensure security, stability, and scalability across all systems.
- Develop and implement automation scripts using Python or Java to streamline routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Support cloud-based services by configuring APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for seamless integration with internal applications.
- Collaborate with development teams following Agile methodologies to deploy updates using SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
- Assist in the deployment of DevOps tools and practices to enhance continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing issues related to operating systems or software applications.
- Contribute to the documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident reports for future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience supporting IT infrastructure within a corporate environment or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux distributions, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Familiarity with programming languages including Python and Java for automation and development purposes.
- Hands-on experience with APIs integration, DevOps practices, and Agile project management methodologies.
- Understanding of SDLC processes for software development projects from planning through deployment.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle or similar technologies is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently while communicating clearly with team members at all levels.
