Our Location: Cutter & Buck is growing and opening a new fulfillment center in Grand Prairie, TX. The DFC will mirror our spectacular Seattle Fulfillment Center. Employees are the backbone of Cutter & Buck, and we need an Inbound Supervisor to join our team in opening and maintaining the DFC.
Job Vision:
The C&B Inbound Supervisor provides leadership, supervision and direction to our Inbound team to ensure smooth delivery of all incoming items to the DFC. The Inbound Supervisor will supervise the Lift Truck Operators and Returns teams of the Inbound department on daily operations, including but not limited to scheduling, coordinator work assignments. This critical management position is essential to in-flow operations of Cutter & Buck.
Job Summary and Essential Functions:
Oversee all inbound operations:
- Manage and coordinate the receipt and put away of product in accordance with the highest possible levels of productivity, accuracy and quality.
- Oversee all aspects of the Return of Goods (Returns) from customers process; work in collaboration with Customer Service for returns authorization.
- Report regularly and ad-hoc to leadership and executive team on Inbound operations.
- Work collaboratively with Embroidery Production, Embroidery Finishing, Outbound, Inventory Control and VAS teams. Work cross functionally throughout the organization and represent the DFC as needed.
- Project participation and/or leadership as assigned.
Maintain a safe work place:
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Report, investigate and support retraining for all Safety incidents, accidents or near misses.
- Maintain a clean neat and orderly warehouse.
- Promotes facility Safety Committee with employees.
- Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA and SDS Standards and Certification requirements.
Responsible for all Inbound Labor Management:
- Direct the operations of the Inbound and Returns team in a manner consistent with Cutter & Buck objectives.
- Develop and maintain a productive work team by creating programs for training and professional development.
- Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in managing, counseling and disciplining subordinates.
- Provide input into the hiring process, performance evaluation for recommending promotions wage increases and terminations. Work with Distribution Manager on employment actions.
- Maintain employee files and records and ensure compliance with training requirements as needed.
Maintain quality to company standards:
- Make sure all work is done accurately, free of damage and on time.
- Attend and hold warehouse meetings. Interact with Operations, Customer Service, Human Resources, employees and customers.
- Lead by example and treat all others with dignity and respect.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a two-year college degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 6+ years' experience in warehousing/distribution management, inbound experience required.
Preferred, but not required, qualifications:
- Four-year college degree.
Systems Experience:
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMi or Infor)
- Inbound Transportation Management
- Inventory Management/AutoStore
- Communication/People skills
- Customs compliance
- SAP ERP/Infor ERP
- Microsoft Office 365 products, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Work Environment:
- Clerical and Physical responsibilities; must be able to lift boxes 10+ lbs or more.
- Cold/hot – not climate controlled
- Dusty
- Safety concerns require the wearing of closed toe/heel shoes in the warehouse
- Must wear warehouse appropriate apparel
- High energy, dynamic work environment where you have quick access to all areas of the organizations.
- On-site daily to ensure maximum support for company.
