Boise Cascade is seeking a passionate, safety-focused Warehouse Operations Supervisor. Please review the responsibilities and qualifications below:
Responsibilities
- Serve as a champion for safety, continuously promoting and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Oversee warehouse operations with a strong focus on documentation and reporting accuracy.
- Manage inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and efficient material flow.
- Lead by example as a 'player-coach,' fostering teamwork and providing guidance to staff.
- Resolve conflicts constructively, supporting positive team dynamics.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervise the daily activities and performance of warehouse staff, including training and development.
- Support and enforce Division Safety and PPE policies and coordinate with management for safety audits and improvements.
- Participate in dispatching activities and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed, ensuring compliance with certification requirements.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Forklift certification required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Experience with inventory management and documentation/reporting.
- Some dispatching experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of building materials is a plus.
