  • Drive practice performance by translating financial insights into actions that improve profitability, cost management, revenue growth, and sustainable performance.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
  • Provide financial guidance and actionable recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Support the Director of Finance Business Partnering with the day-to-day management and execution of finance activities.

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting principles, internal policies, and applicable compliance requirements.
  • Provide support during audits, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and delivered within required timelines.
  • Lead and develop a team of Senior Financial Analysts through coaching, mentoring, performance feedback, and knowledge sharing.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, learning, and high-quality service delivery within the finance team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably with previous experience as a Finance Manager.
  • Strong experience in financial management, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, variance analysis, and business performance management.
  • Excellent people-management skills, with demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to transform complex financial information into clear, practical, and actionable business recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management or reporting systems.
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence operational leaders and build trusted relationships.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, particularly when communicating financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Strong commercial mindset, attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining autonomy, accountability, and a strong focus on business outcomes.
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
