Financial Planning & Analysis Associate at CIRCLE SEAFOODS INC – Seattle, Washington

Fully Remote: Seattle / Portland area

Overview:

Circle Seafoods is seeking a success oriented professional to join us as a FP&A Associate. The ideal candidate should be proactive, positive, and interested in career growth. This is a great way for you to get your foot in the door and advance with us as our business steadily expands.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategy development
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives
• Set up and maintain cost controls, monitoring expenses and improving cost efficiency across departments
• Collaborate with various teams to provide financial insights and support operational decisions
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Maintain and improve financial processes, systems, and reporting tools
• Manage New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) compliance requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in manufacturing or food production
• CPA certification is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
