Position purpose

The Scheduling Agent handles incoming calls, schedules appointments, answers patient questions. The Scheduling Agent provides excellent customer service and attention to each patient of the practice.

Role and Responsibilities

• Answers inbound calls regarding scheduling appointments for new or existing patients at all locations.
• Monitors the clinic schedule to ensure efficient scheduling.
• Collects and documents patient medical history into the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Maintains knowledge of the practice services, provider specialties, and schedules.
• Directs phone calls to the appropriate departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Official High School Transcripts, Diploma or Equivalency Certificate
• Friendly, Polite, and Professional

Pay Rate

$16.00/hour

Additional Notes

Full-time: 5 days a week- 8-hour shifts: 9:00AM-5:00PM or 11:00AM-7:15PM, and 1 Saturday every 8 weeks from 6:45AM-12:45PM.
