As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and scaling a modern cloud infrastructure that supports mission-critical business operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical leader who enjoys building resilient, secure, and highly available systems in a fast-paced remote environment. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and security teams to optimize cloud platforms, automate infrastructure, and drive operational excellence. - Design, manage, and optimize AWS infrastructure across production and non-production environments to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Architect highly available cloud solutions that support API-driven and data-intensive applications while implementing infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Establish and maintain operational best practices, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, network segmentation, encryption, and access controls.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and overall platform architecture.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring team members, serving as a systems expert, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and operational runbooks.
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related technical role.
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services, including EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and related cloud technologies.
- Solid Linux systems administration experience and strong scripting or automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Proven experience designing, deploying, and supporting secure, production-grade, customer-facing infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of networking, cloud architecture, security principles, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience working independently in remote, distributed teams with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- AWS certifications, experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms, or compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or HIPAA are considered strong advantages.
