Job Description
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Patient Care Tech to join our Birth Place in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Position Details
- Status: PRN (Per Requested Need).
- Work Shift: Days, Evenings, Nights or even Rotating
- Hours: Varies upon shift
- Shift Differential $1- $2 additional depending on shift.

What Your Day Looks Like: Performing patient care duties under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
As a Patient Care Tech, you will be:
- Applying current theory, principles of treatment, and nursing procedures in the care of The Birth Place patients.
- Knowing and practicing special skills required as a tech for labor and delivery;
- Maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment,
- Actively and consistently contributing to department operations and communications.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma (preferred).
Experience: None! We provide on the job training—however, it is a plus if you hold an active Certified Nurse Assistant Licensure.
Skills: Good Communication, Patience, Attention to detail, flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills.
Licensure/Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR (we assist with obtaining this) within 6 months of employment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 90% of the shift and sit for the remaining 10% of shift. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
