The NOC Platforms & Integration Lead will own the technical lifecycle and operational readiness of key network operations platforms. This role requires strong collaboration with engineering, operations, and vendors to ensure systems are integrated, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
- Partner with engineering teams to define architectural blueprints, technology roadmaps, and platform strategies for critical NOC tools and systems.
- Lead testing and validation efforts for new features, integrations, and tools, creating comprehensive test plans and ensuring operational readiness before deployment.
- Oversee the integration of new products and operational capabilities into existing environments while minimizing disruption.
- Manage release cycles, deployment planning, and communication between engineering and operations teams.
- Act as a Tier 3 technical subject matter expert, troubleshooting complex platform issues and supporting production stability.
- Own platform lifecycle management, ensuring tools remain reliable, scalable, and aligned with operational requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships, coordinate implementations, and define technical requirements for third-party solutions.
- Design, support, and optimize API integrations across platforms using modern integration approaches.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and reliability across network operations processes.
The ideal candidate is a technically experienced professional with a strong background in systems integration, network operations, and platform architecture. They should be comfortable working across engineering and operational teams while managing complex technical environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in systems design, tooling architecture, integration engineering, or related roles within NOC, telecommunications, or service assurance environments.
- Experience designing, consuming, and troubleshooting API integrations, including REST, SOAP, or gRPC.
- Strong scripting experience with languages such as Python or Go.
- Proven ability to manage complex platform lifecycles and act as a technical liaison between engineering teams and operational users.
- Experience with large-scale telecommunications, fiber, cable, or network operations environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platforms, particularly Event Management, ITOM, or ITSM modules, preferred.
- Experience with release management processes, testing automation, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience managing third-party vendors, negotiating technical requirements, and defining integration strategies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in a collaborative environment.
- Competitive base salary range of $139,200 – $203,300 annually.
