Accountabilities:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding market presence by identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and developing long-term customer partnerships within an assigned territory.

  • Prospect, identify, and engage with potential customers across targeted industries to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of contacts while qualifying and developing strategic accounts.
  • Manage the complete sales process from lead qualification and discovery through negotiation and deal closure.
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns and convert opportunities into revenue-generating accounts.
  • Develop territory sales strategies, forecasts, and account plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, marketing, and leadership to improve customer satisfaction and accelerate business growth.
  • Build strong customer relationships by understanding business challenges and delivering tailored technology solutions.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across hardware and software offerings to effectively advise customers.
  • Provide accurate sales reporting, pipeline visibility, and market insights to support business decisions.
  • Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory, with approximately 60–70% travel expected.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated technical sales professional with a proven ability to generate new business, manage complex sales cycles, and consistently exceed revenue targets. They should demonstrate strong communication skills, entrepreneurial drive, and the ability to operate independently in a remote environment.

  • 5–10 years of experience in technical sales or a related technology-focused sales environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated success in proactively identifying, developing, and closing new account opportunities.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and account strategies.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer needs and present effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Previous experience working in a technology industry preferred.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership of results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while managing priorities independently.
  • Strong adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to customer success.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000.
  • Additional commission opportunity of approximately $50,000 based on the sales plan.
