Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Generative AI Video Lesson Creator based in the United States.
This is a remote contract opportunity for a working professional who uses generative AI tools as part of their everyday work. You will create short, narrated screen-capture lessons that demonstrate practical AI workflows for college-level learners. The role combines subject-matter expertise, instructional communication, and hands-on experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot. You will help learners understand not only how to use these tools, but also how to evaluate their outputs and apply sound professional judgment. Your lessons will contribute to accessible, practical education designed around real-world workplace applications. The work is flexible and asynchronous, with the opportunity to select projects aligned with your expertise.
- Create concise 4–6-minute narrated screen-recording lessons demonstrating practical generative AI workflows relevant to college-level learners.
- Develop clear lesson structures with an effective introduction, logical sequence of steps, practical demonstrations, and a concise summary of key takeaways.
- Demonstrate real-world applications of generative AI within at least one relevant domain: Business Analytics with AI, Business Communication with AI, or Responsible & Ethical AI Use.
- Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot to demonstrate practical professional workflows rather than theoretical AI concepts.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs critically, identifying responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, generic, or inappropriate for the professional context.
- Explain technical or AI-related concepts clearly to non-technical learners using accessible language and practical examples.
- Record high-quality screen captures with clear voice narration and appropriate audio and visual quality.
- Perform light video editing and touch-ups, including basic introductions, watermarking, and other simple production adjustments.
- Review instructional materials and exercises to ensure they reflect authentic professional practices and align with stated learning objectives.
- Work asynchronously with an internal team, providing clear, organized, and actionable feedback when requested.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a master’s degree and/or college teaching experience is preferred.
- At least 2 years of hands-on professional experience in a relevant domain.
- Demonstrated practical experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot as part of real professional workflows.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals and the ability to identify meaningful versus superficial applications of AI.
- Excellent judgment when evaluating AI outputs, including the ability to recognize plausible but incorrect, incomplete, biased, or misleading responses.
- Experience or comfort with screen-recording and light video-editing tools such as Camtasia, Loom, OBS Studio, ScreenFlow, or equivalent; candidates must have access to their preferred tools.
- Ability to produce clear 1080p screen recordings with clean audio and confident, natural voice narration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts effectively to non-technical college learners.
- Ability to distinguish personal preferences from objective, principle-based feedback when reviewing educational content.
- Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to assess whether learning activities reflect genuine workplace practices.
- Comfortable working independently and asynchronously with an internal content team.
- Active professional experience in at least one of the following areas: business analytics, business communication, or responsible and ethical AI use.
- Experience using LLMs routinely within your professional work and the ability to demonstrate those workflows on screen.
- A practical, learner-focused mindset and the ability to translate professional expertise into useful instructional content.
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience creating screencasts, tutorials, narrated walkthroughs, or instructional videos.
- AI-related certifications, courses, or an AI-assisted professional portfolio.
- Experience mentoring colleagues, delivering internal training, or creating SOPs and professional documentation.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles or instructional design concepts.
- Experience participating in professional development courses and a strong understanding of what makes learning content effective from a learner’s perspective.

- Support: Access to a supportive internal team that can answer questions and help you get started.
- Meaningful impact: Help create practical educational content that makes generative AI more accessible and useful for college learners and working professionals.
- Contract opportunity: Work as an independent contributor in a flexible environment without a traditional fixed office schedule.
