Associate Instructional Designer - eLearning

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Instructional Designer - eLearning based in United States.

This contract role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in instructional design and digital learning development within an innovative education environment.
The Associate Instructional Designer will support the creation of engaging online degree content by transforming existing materials into interactive e-learning experiences.
You will work closely with an instructional design team while developing expertise in learning technologies, quality assurance, and digital education workflows.
The role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technically comfortable, and passionate about improving online learning experiences.
You will contribute to the accuracy, usability, and consistency of educational content delivered to learners worldwide.
This fully remote opportunity provides flexibility, structured training, and valuable exposure to modern e-learning development practices.

Accountabilities:

The Associate Instructional Designer will support the development of online learning materials by accurately transferring, reviewing, and maintaining educational content within a digital learning platform. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with instructional design team members.

  • Populate educational content, activities, and assessments into the organization’s e-learning platform accurately and efficiently.
  • Review completed digital lessons to ensure proper formatting, functionality, consistency, and overall quality.
  • Support quality assurance processes by identifying errors, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain detailed records of project progress, completed assignments, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and team members to ensure smooth content development workflows.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and provide timely updates on project status and priorities.
  • Learn and apply new digital learning tools and processes through provided training and ongoing team support.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an organized and technically capable professional with an interest in instructional design, educational technology, and digital learning development. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage tasks independently in a remote environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; transcripts may be requested as part of accreditation requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in business, education, or a related industry.
  • General understanding of e-learning software and digital learning tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or similar platforms.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear progress updates and maintain schedules.
  • Experience designing or delivering university-level educational curriculum is a plus.
  • Familiarity with G-Suite tools is preferred.
  • Availability to dedicate approximately 20-40 hours per week, with preference for candidates available closer to full-time hours.
