Medical Assistant (Ambulatory) in Gallipolis, Ohio at Holzer Health System

The Medical Assistant (MA) is directly responsible and accountable to the Department Manager for assisting physician(s) by performing selected nursing duties such Pap smears; minor surgery and suture removal; obtaining urine specimens and throat cultures; taking weights, heights, and vital signs; stocking rooms and ordering supplies; being responsible for patient flow and maintaining strictest patient confidentiality; as well as providing quality patient care and maintaining good public relations with the patients and their families.

Education, Work Experience and Licensure

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Current CPR certification.
