In this position, you would be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the payroll and accounting departments by assisting with payroll processing, accounting processes, and payroll-related data entry. This position is ideal for someone beginning a career in payroll or accounting within a Multi-Dealership Group environment. You will report directly to the Payroll Manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Previous clerical, administrative, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Previous dealership working experience, a PLUS!
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must have good work this including maintaining a neat work area.
- Excellent follow-through skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary)
- Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and valid CA driver's license.
Essential Duties, but not limited to:
- Assist with processing employee payroll accurately and timely.
- Assist with payroll data including hours worked, pay adjustments, commissions, and deductions.
- Assist with maintaining employee payroll files and records.
- Support payroll audits and verification of payroll information.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and personal information.
- File payroll and accounting documents accurately.
- Support the payroll center with administrative duties as assigned.
- Understand and follow company policies, procedures, and payroll compliance requirements.
Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Type: Full-Time
Location: NO REMOTE work
