Job Description

Senior Product Manager

Reports to: Director of Product

Location: Irvine, CA/Hybrid/Remote

FLSA Status: Exempt

About Our Organization: RIS Rx (pronounced "RISE Rx") is on a mission to make every dollar allocated for affordability count, delivering true impact for the patients and pharma manufacturers we serve. We’ve built the industry’s first real-time, pharmacist-led GTN Revenue Performance platform, restoring trust, visibility, and integrity to patient affordability.

What sets us apart? Our team combines deep pharmacy roots with cutting-edge technology, tackling patient access barriers in smarter, more human ways. Our people-first culture means you’ll find career growth, great benefits, and a supportive environment waiting for you, because we believe when people thrive, everyone wins.

Join us and help shape a better, brighter future for patient access.

About the role: We are seeking a well-rounded Senior Product Manager who loves to ideate, collaborate, design, and build, not just manage. This role will lead product discovery and execution for internal and external facing product, translating complex healthcare workflows, pharmacy-to-patient experiences, operational needs, client expectations, and data challenges into practical, scalable software solutions. This is a high-ownership role for someone who can create clarity from ambiguity, move confidently from insight to decision to delivery, and stay hands-on across discovery, user stories, prioritization, and execution.

You will be successful if you are energized by solving difficult problems, rapidly learning new domains, and leveraging modern AI tools in a dynamic, high-growth, healthcare-focused environment.

What You'll Do

  • Own discovery and product direction for a portfolio of products, with a focus on solving real workflow, reporting, and decision-making problems.
  • Collaborate with internal users, client-facing teams, operations, analytics, and engineering to deeply understand workflows, identify opportunities and risks, and reduce manual work.
  • Turn ambiguous problems into clear product decisions, prioritized work, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with engineering to move from problem definition to delivery, balancing speed, quality, feasibility, and business impact.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning participation, release planning, and day-to-day product execution with clarity and follow-through.
  • Leverage the latest AI prototyping tools to conceptualize and evaluate ideas.
  • Strengthen how RIS Rx discovers, prioritizes, measures, and communicates product work in an evolving product organization.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of product management experience in SaaS, healthcare technology, data-focused products, analytics solutions, or related software environments.
  • Have built or significantly shaped products, capabilities, or workflows in environments where the path was not already defined.
  • Comfortable working across data, operations, engineering, and client-facing teams to uncover the real problem behind the request.
  • Strong product judgment; knows when to push for discovery, when to make a pragmatic decision, and when to move forward with imperfect information.
  • Able to translate complex workflows, business rules, operational needs, and data concepts into clear product requirements that engineering teams can confidently build from.
  • Comfortable exploring and leveraging AI product tools, and willing to use them to improve speed, synthesis, collaboration, and decision-making.
  • Experience working in high-growth organizations where adaptability, ownership, initiative, and follow-through are critical to success.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with executives, peers, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders without overcomplicating the message

Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications

  • Familiarity with data quality, reporting, analytics, data governance, or related concepts.
  • Experience in healthcare technology, pharma copay or patient access programs, or healthcare claims processing

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

What we offer

  • Free gym membership
  • Modern office
  • Annual merit-based salary increases
  • 401(k) with annual company match

  • Time off that grows with you: 3 weeks PTO 0-2 years. 4 weeks PTO after 3+ years. 5 weeks PTO after 5+ years
